A classic Craftsman, with an inviting front porch and deep overhang  for year around enjoyment. Built in 1915, the beautiful workmanship  has been carefully maintained and preserved. Notice the original wood floors and the decorative wall registers. The clever stairway landing leads to the upper level, but also to the dinette and sunroom. The remodeled kitchen includes cabinets built by former Anacortes Mayor Jim Rice. Modern upgrades include quartz countertops with subway tile, a German made Liebherr refrigerator, and a sunny yellow Bertazzoni range, also a 12 panel solar system. Upstairs, is the original bathroom/bathtub, and additional four rooms. In the master bedroom, a large closet became the bathroom with heated floors and a tiled walk-in shower. The TV room displays a large schematic of the ship Kauai. Mr. Baglien had this printed while they were in a shipyard in China. Throughout the home is interesting artwork and heirlooms. The dining room has a special photograph of the ancestral home in Norway.
