From the leaded-glass double door entry, it’s apparent that the focus is Pacific Northwest, and nothing confirms that more than the water view from most rooms. Other Northwest inspiration is seen in the natural cedar vaulted ceiling, the limestone fireplaces, and the porcelain floor tile. Support of local artists is evident, in the entry a Suzanne Guttman chandelier. The Whidbey Island artist also created the chandelier over the black walnut live-edge dining room table by Smith-Vallee of Bow. Another favorite artist is Lau Chun, whose distinctive Impressionist style is seen throughout the home. The media room is set to recline and relax. In the powder room notice the framed gold-laid quilt from Santa Fe, and the Guttman sink and wall sconces are reminiscent of the sea. From the master bedroom enjoy the large water view deck. The focal point of the kitchen is the granite topped 5’x7’ island. A delight for any chef, the kitchen includes a pot filler faucet near the Thermador cooktop, double ovens, Sub-Zero refrigerator and a walk through pantry.
